Saw him a few years ago. Still put on an amazing show at his age.

Met him once. Truly a unique personality. Sorry to hear this. Helluva musician. He was Sonny and Cher’s arranger during their heyday. When he was a teen he’d sneak into African American jazz clubs to listen. Soon he was sitting in with them.
