I wish they didn't stop making Tony Hawk Games

I don't like Skate. The camera angle gives me a headache, and the trick system just doesn't feel as satisfying to me as Tony Hawk. I bought Tony Hawk 1 and 2 on Ebay and replayed them both.
The good news is there exists two tony hawk games released on last gen systems that I haven't spent any time with. I'm wishing now that I had played Proving Ground when it was new.
Clearly Neversoft was grasping at straws with adding new mechanics by this point. There are things here (slash grinds, bowl carving, pushing off walls to increase speed of manuals) that I will almost never do outside of being required to do so by the story, but I like this open world much more than the one in Skate and wish they would've released more of these later on into the console generation.

If they ever did a remastered 1 or 2, somebody would make so much money.

Did you not play Tony Hawk HD back in 2012?
LINK
You can put the original songs back in on the PC version.

I did not.
Has levels from the first 3 games remade in the Unreal 3 engine.

It's not on Steam anymore because of licensing issues with the music but you can download it off Amazon for $10.

The remaster was made by Robomodo. I didn't think it was bad for the price I paid, but the physics weren't the same as the original games.
I don't "hate" THPS5 for the $15 I paid for it either but it isn't a good game. It's the same goals copy/pasted across every single level.

We used to get insanely high scores on that game

I liked to use the perfect grind code and perfect manual code. You could literally just do one grind or manual forever and build up your score as high as you wanted.
