The Dream: A Podcast About MLMs

Has anyone listened to this podcast?
There are 11 episodes. The last episode was published on December 3rd, 2018.
Right now I am on episode 9 and the last few episodes have really gotten into some good research. It talks about a case in the early 70s that brought down a big MLM and a few small ones, but because of the way the FTC and others who were working on this went about it (they thought if they could take down the smaller ones first then the bigger one, that would allow them to go after Amway, but Amway was well connected politically).
One of the girls on the podcast joined one for research purposes and pursue it as if she was really planning on doing it. She joined a MLM that sold makeup. As she kept track of everything. Communications with the person she signed up with, etc, etc. She pretty much was able to prove that it is impossible for 99% of the people who join, to make money.
She had gone to a "corporate conference" where people from all over came in. And there was a part where people shared their stories and one woman got up and was telling everyone how she was on the verge of committing suicide a month before joining the company. The girl doing the research said she was watching the "corporate" people because it was an emotional moment, and it was as if they didn't care at all.
And that she realized, after people told their story, most people who joined were broken in some way. Women trying to earn extra money to go to marriage counseling, etc. It's really sad how most of these companies prey on poor and vulnerable people.

The thing that fascinates me is how overnight fairly reasonable women turn into these MLM social media robots spewing the same shite.
It's like they all take a week long course on how to make posts about your husband or date night or your kids. And I don't mean just the attention whoring, they talk about the same subjects, in the same manner, down to the same emoticons/pictures and whatnot. It's crazy.
