I usually slide them a $20 each so they can grab some lunch after.

How much do I tip the admins for banning spin-off thread starters?

When social media became the bastion for news and "free speech". Causing the most normal of things to outrage people.

Yep. 10/person/moving location.
so if 2 guys help you load a truck at current place and unload at new place, $40 is good.

Former mover while i was in college here: i worked for two separate companies. One that mostly moved office fortunate and cubicles, never received a tip at this job but was paid pretty well.
The other was a more traditional moving job. Old people never tipped. Most people between 30-50 would slip us some beer money when the “owner” of the company wasn’t looking.

When I have used movers I provided them bottle water/powerade, bought their lunches, and tipped each about $20 each

Worked for a moving company in summers between college. Standard tip we got was $25 to load and $25 to unload so usually $50. I would be ok with less in tips if they fed us and gave us a cold drink. The moves I did were usually 2-3 day moves with crews of 4-5 so we usually did get that much. One day job under 8 hours, $20.

I moved last weekend and had a truck with 3 guys. Gave them $100 each when they were done.

Preach. Even when I started it wasn't this bad.
