Mexico can barely fill a roster for the Gold Cup, much less 2 senior level tournaments.

No shite. It's still a senior level tournament, though. There's not a ton of competition in it, but it's still the best our continent has to offer and it's not a U23 tournament.

It’s just frustrating that with no Confed Cup anymore the US can go an entire WC cycle without playing competitive games against anyone outside of Concacaf.

And that US Soccer is too spineless to aggressively try to remedy that

It’s got team with players who basically play in amateur level leagues

Not the senior level we need
