It’s tough because people don’t realize the reason we can’t pull him is because PM doesn’t trust another guy besides Reid at 3rd and Reid is our best option at first.

Beloso started 90% of this season at 1st. You people are fricking sad.

Reid moves to first base, Hughes to third and we’ve gone 10-3. We beat Arkansas and State. Wr fought like hell to get to the conference semis playing extra game and extra innings. We swept a Regional. The coach isn’t going to change unless something cracks.

We are playing better now than we have all season.

We are playing better now because Garza is tearing the cover off of the ball, Broussard is being productive and Cabrerra's bat is finally coming around.

The current form has, literally, nothing to do with Hughes being in the lineup or where Reid and Beloso are playing.

You're out of your depth.

Just because Beloso started there doesn’t mean he’s our best option, and I want to take Hughes out of the line up more than anyone

There are 5 or 6 options to do so, without sacrificing much defense. All 5 or 6 provide more upside at the plate. You guys can keep acting like CPM doesn't have options, and those of use with common sense will keep telling you that's wrong.

He has options, he's just choosing the ultra conservative one.

The coach isn’t going to change. You know that. Not when we are streaking.

You can whine all you want, but Reid went to first not to get Hughes in the line up, but to get us better at first.

You can’t see that because you are out of your league.

...and we keep winning. Obviously that means we need to change it up.

1 for 31 and .170 are why we need to change it up. You don't win much with a black hole in the lineup.

OK list the five or six options we have at first base that are better than Reid.

Hint, Beloso isn’t one of them.

Says the guy arguing that a player with a .961 fielding percentage HAS to be in the lineup for his defense.

Yeah, this isn't what I said. If you're going to argue at least keep up.

Hughes may be our best defensive infielder. We know he is not going to hit, goes up to the place trying to walk. If you are CPM bunting Reid to allow Hughes to drive in some runs was the wrong call.

After getting crushed by Ark in games 1 and 2 PM shook up the lineup. 10-3 since.

Talk all you want about a 961 fielding percentage as if it means a lot, but it doesn’t.

He may be LSU's "best", but a .961 fielding percentage does not make up for a .170 batting average. This rings true at every single level of baseball.

Bianco has barely played and has more extra-base hits than Hughes. Same for Willis and Dugas.

Right. Discussing ways that the lineup could be better doesn't mean anything. It must be hard to type with CPM's taint in your face the whole time.

You act like he's Austin Nola out there. Hint: He's not.

This is why LSU is 10-3 since Arkansas. It has nothing to do with Hughes being in the lineup.

Throw is Broussard going 8 for 12 and Cabrera heating up and you have a solid lineup no matter what.
