I have been a lurker for many years, but I needed some expert advice. I recently got back into golfing. I wasn’t very good 8 years ago and I didn’t magically get better after my hiatus from it. I’ve forgotten how much I love this sport! I wanted to know who is a good instructor around the Baton Rouge area. I’m not trying to be scratch golfer by any means right not, just want to be more consistent so I can enjoy the game even more. Tia

There are a few people on this board who have something against Chris Burkstaller and idk why lol. He's great for younger kids and beginners. He gets the job done and he's not overly expensive either.

I take it from the downvotes that this guy isn’t very good.

I have. He’s a good dude and very knowledgeable. I’d recommend him.

From what I have heard about him, he looks at what you're working with and tweaks it to get the most out of it. I really like this thought approach. I dont want someone to rebuild a swing, just tell me where I am going wrong and let me work on that.

I think that approach rubs some the wrong way. Never change, Chris.

Why all the down votes for Burkstaller, he helped me a few years ago. I am way more consistent these days from his help.
