Ranger looks great, especially for a boat almost 30 years old. Ive seen 10 year old boats that look way worse. Scheduled maintenance goes a long way on the hull and motor.

Sitting with a blown motor at the moment. Shopping for a replacement.

Nice. I like the anything on white color combos. Not that my black is hot, I bet we have the same color carpet, but the whites don’t oxidize like the darker colors.

Not sure. Pricing G2's at the moment. The 20 year old ficht gave up the ghost. Lost an injector and the cylinder followed. Covered in this thread LINK.

Here’s a pic of 13 year old Pillage in 1996 at Sam Rayburn with the same boat.

And my pops showing me the ropes

I will fish out of that boat until God takes her away from me.

I don't really know what the hull type name is. The boat is a 1984 McKee craft "offshore fisherman". The hull flattens out on the bottom towards the back, with some pretty strange chines you see there in the pic. It's old but suits my needs perfectly. And yes, it's smooth as silk, and extremely stable in rolling seas or while walking on the gunnel.

That’s how I feel about mine.

I need to go look for the earliest pic of me in my rig. It’s probably wake boarding or slaloming. I’m too old for that shite now.

The hull will probably last me another 30 years. It’s in great shape. I may have to eventually do a 20 year loan to re-power. (That joke is for you, Homey.)

Bro, brand new 200hp for $83/mo for 20 years. Hell, your boy can take over the payments when hes in his 20s. Burden off of you then.

If I put that on a 17’10” boat, my son will have to take over the payments when he’s 8.

Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
'08 1756 Alweld CC Angler with an '07 90 2-stroke Yamma-Hamma with 6" Bobs Machine Hydraulic Jackplate. I just put a brand new 80lb thrust 24 volt Minn Kota Troll motor (old one shown)

Future plans are to add a power pole, fishfinder/GPS and most of all I want to swap out the plastic tank for an aluminum one and extend my back deck all the way to the transom.
