Series came out last last night. Really looking forward to watching.

Caught about 20 mins of the first episode before bed last night and I was instantly drawn in. I know Tennant is going to crush it as Crawley.

Looking forward to it. I really liked the book and the previews look good. How many episodes is it? Likely binge at some point over the next few weeks.

He was so vile, repugnant, and disgusting on Jessica Jones... and I was so upset that he didn't come back.

I watched the first 2 episodes last night (I think there are 6 or 8 total).

I thought the casting was excellent and Both Tennant and Shaheen (sp) (Aziraphale) have nailed it so far.

It has a lot more focus and direction that American Gods and of course this has the Pratchett-humour influence.

TLDR: really good so far.

I've been eagerly awaiting this since they first announced David Tennant and Michael Sheen would star. The only reason I didn't watch half of the episodes was that the NBA Finals started last night. I thought it was great.

Also on Amazon Prime: my wife and I watched both seasons of Fleabag over two nights earlier this week. That was really, really good. There's some funny stuff on that and some excellent dramatic stuff. It's about a 30-something Englishwoman who sleeps around and makes a lot of bad choices with her life. Olivia Coleman is her horribly passive aggressive stepmother.

Haven't watched yet but seeing Hogfather right next to it in suggestions made me smile.

I’m trying not to go through it too fast. One of my favorite books and I’m so excited that I don’t hate the show

I binged

Overall, I thought it was excellent. The acting was great.

There is one jarringly bad visual effect later on, so bad it surprised me. It involved Adam and his pals, I won't say more, you'll know when you see it. But otherwise, great fun show.

I'm very glad to see such positive vibes from this. I absolutely adore Neil Gaiman, and after being impressed by American Gods in a visual respect but disappointed in how disjointed and hard to follow the show has been, I love seeing that this is largely accepted as very good. The source material is much easier to follow, so it's no surprise.

I hope this leads to a new adaptation of Neverwhere, which I feel would also do well thanks to its easy flow and humor.

Tried the first episode but couldn't really get into it. Sort of had a Dogma meets Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy vibe to it. I'll try again I think.

I quit American gods before the end on the first season.

I’m much happier with this.

Also, I really want Dog

Watched the first episode tonight.

Wife is a huge fan of the book and really liked it.

I think Pratchett's humor, much like Douglas Adams', is a bit of a challenge to adapt for film and television - it's a very particular style of describing absurd things that happen in an equally absurd world in a very matter-of-fact way.

It's really difficult to fit an explanation for the Best of Queen joke into a 50 minute tv show, especially when the explanation/setup is funnier than the running gag itself.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Horsemen on screen; they were easily my favorite part of the book.

I just watched the first episode, and was blown away.

Huge Gaiman fan, I love American Gods, and this is even better so far.

Awesome casting. Great humor.

Looking forward to watching the rest

Damn. I couldnt help but finish this so quickly. I wanted it to last longer but it was hard with just 6 episodes.

Holy hell was it good. I know Gaiman always said that there would not be a second season, but I need more of that world, and of course more Dog.
