is that considered a lot these days? I know it is probably strict form in a meet, probably don't allow the help of the spotters to keep the bar moving or bouncing the bar off at the bottom, but doesn't seem that much really.

Those 2 lifts with a decent clean would have won the high school USA Weightlifting competition. So yeah, if those lifts are proper, then he's extremely strong and still has another year of high school.

Let’s see you lift it, tough guy. 370 pounds is an extraordinary amount of weight to push off your chest.
