I'm not a Jeep fanboy but I will say this. Go out and price taking a ladder frame of your choice and building it up similar to a Jeep Rubicon. Come up with that figure then imagine finding a warranty for it. Sure you can find a used Tacoma with however many thousand miles, or whatever for $15 grand. If you like a traditional 4x4 setup, new and with lockers and solid axles and will run 34 plus inch tires stock it won't be found for $25k.

Keep the solid axles, titan swap it instead.
ETA: the downvoters are those who don't realize the xterra is more than just a lesbian car, it's an astounding offroader.
