Burgers, dogs, brats, chicken, and pork chops about to go down on the grill. Put some ribs and a tenderloin in the smoker early this morning. I know that's a lot of food, but the whole family is out at my grandfather's spot on the lake. 4 generations of us today. All while enjoying this weather and cold beer. Yall stay safe and have a ball baws.

Every Yankee that posted “brats” gets a downvote.

We don’t eat that shite down here.

We do eat sausage, boudin and hot dogs, however.

ETA: By the aforementioned rule, I DV’d this post.

Currently in my freezer, or that I cook regularly:

Ville Platted smoked pork sausage
Czech pure pork smoked sausage from Wall, Texas
Manda’s smoked sausage
Venison & Pork green onion sausage
Venison & Pork Italian sausage
Endless varieties of fresh sausage from NuNu’s
Johnsonville Brats
Connecuh smoked sausage

Yes... I’m “down here” and cook bratwurst. Oh, and boudin.

I put a 5# Chuck roast in the sous vide for 36 hours. I’ll reduce the drippings for ah jus, and char the roast on the BGE. Probably make a horsey sauce. Asparagus. Roasted new potatoes. Meritage.

‘Merica!

Added boudin.

Thanks. Yankee.

Roger

ETA: Sous Vide earns downvotes.
More Yankee shite.

You'll have to excuse Mr Perfect. He doesn't know what the world outside of generic hipsterhood in generic big city looks like.

Ribs on now smoking, chicken thighs later then dogs, sausage and burgers. It is so fricking hot! I hope we have some global cooling soon. With this heat and getting worse there may not be enough beer for the summer.

Think in gonna fire it up and grill some venison over some hot coals for about 20 minutes or so with some McCain's sausage.

I got a shite load of venison from my sister's boyfriend I need to grill--backstraps and steaks.

Will make own barbeque up and get to work.

A few homemade beers and some fried onions and off to Chernobyl later.

Yeah, I live about 2 miles from the high temple of boudin and cracklings so I just go get a few links when we want that.

Forgot to mention audad. I have Audad sausage, as well. No yankee has ever shot and eaten Audad sheep.

I knew sous vide wouldn’t count for “whatchall grilling”. Don’t care. It will be better than 95% of the things listed, though!

Try this dressing from Serious Eats

Wife just got done making a batch for our wedge salads later. Tastes amazing.

I think you should post a pic with that backdrop and your dick out to prove authenticity and shut him up
