Drove across the entire state of Texas yesterday and today: Observations

Texas is severely overrated. It’s a big Louisiana. Baws everywhere. I mean every other car on the road is an F150 or Chevy Silverado. The roads suck. Construction every 10 miles backing up traffic on the interstate. There is no culture. East Texas tries to be Louisiana. South and West Texas tries to be Mexico. North Texas (Dallas) is just generic. A generic big city.
Since its so much bigger its bound to have more areas like Mandeville. Congrats on the public school system though. At least you Texans can hang your hat on that

Sounds like you’re just mad that you live in Louisiana. I’m not even from Texas.

So you've evaluated the entire state by driving on I-10?

I believe all the Texas men are gay which is why Texas recruits so many La men to breed their women

That's a pretty big deal because it generally means the state is a great place to raise a family.

Texas has a very distinct culture. But with the advent of traveling and relocating being as easy as its ever been, like most places, transplants are watering that down. Eventually no where will really have "unique" culture.

Texas is just an extension of Mexico. El Mexico Norte.

I like Texas but i don’t get the infatuation its natives have towards it.
It’s very generic for the most part. Anything but unique or special.

I-10 goes through Dallas?

You drove across the entire state in one day? Wow, the traffic must have been pure atrocity.
Now back to the light traffic around BR this morning?

You are either trolling or just an idiot. Some parts are boring, like from Junction to Van horn, and Houston to San Antonio. San Antonio through Boerne and Kerrville is really nice.

Although I don’t like the “everything is bigger in Texas” culture, there is always something going on in Houston and Dallas. I enjoy both cities a lot.

Notice I said yesterday and today. Reading comprehension baw

At least they have better traffic engineers. I can get from one end of San Antonio to the other end during rush hour in 20 minutes.
