Just looking at a pretty quick 4-5 night getaway down in Costa Rica. Have not been before. Flights are cheap down to SJO, not so cheap to Liberia.

Was looking at flying down to SJO, driving over to Jaco and staying Jaco for a few nights.

Any experiences there?

Also, this would be during the rainy season. How bad will that be in Jaco near the beach?

Keep driving, a little further, unless you're there for "partying".

Jaco near the beach?

The beaches there suck.

Manuel Antonio is not much further and has great beaches and just a much nicer area.

Great fishing from both places if that's what you're wanting to do.

Manual Antonia is cool but also check out monteverde. I loved it up there.

I'm thinking of going to Costa Rica soon for a long weekend and doing ayahuasca. Working my arse of lately has taken a toll on me and im ready for something new and exciting.

Research Montezuma. It’s the coolest spot in CR, IMO. The waterfalls outside of town are epic, and Cabo Blanco is a great place to hike. The town is very quaint.
