Have never been to MN, but have visited neighboring states in summer and have also been in subzero temperatures. For that alone (and what I assume to be unrelenting depression 6-8 months per year), zero chance Minnesota outranks most sunbelt states in terms of quality of life. Also I would assume the food sucks arse like most of the north. I watched the Astros play the Twins in an early-May series and it was sub-40. That is laughable.

One of my coworkers has a daughter that lives there. She visited them once and it snowed....

My home state is trash, but if you can’t understand why the average person who grew up in LA wants no part of that, I don’t know what to tell you.
