I'm good with it (GOT SPOILERS)

Like others have said, I can definitely see this being the real GRRM ending. Bitter sweet but Jon is where he wants to be and truly belongs.
Bran becoming king was the only thing out of left field that doesn't feel quite right. But again, I'm fine with it.

The middle act was definitely clunky but about as good as you could hope for after this season with the time crunch. The wildlings at the end going north was a nice last shot.
Suffered from same rushed pace as everything else. Dany’s death definitely needed more time than a third of an episode.

Agreed I was fine with the ending. But do agree that it was very rushed. The pace was breakneck speed and it hurt the show

Why did the Unsullied and Dothraki keep Jon and Tyrion chilling in cells for
Months waiting on the Westerosi to show up and figure out what to do with them?
Because reasons.

So GRRM worked for 40 years to create a world for Jon to join the Night's Watch in a fight against a non-existent enemy?

Because Greyworm knew it would cause major problems and probably more war

No more Dragon behind back, means negotiate like normal folk...

And this seems to be an issue with me too. Why send Jon to the wall? If bran made a statement that there will always be a nights king and an army of the dead to protect from them it might make sense more. Or have a side with Bran telling Jon about rising threats to the north and he must find the stones in a circle or something to give some context.

Agreed. Anyone crying is just mad their boy didnt run the throne. Jon is king beyond the wall. Sansa of the North. Bran of the rest...since he is all knowing.
Kind of all adds up

I’m mad at how the last 2 seasons played out.

Again: the ending itself is one thing, how we got there (the entire point of watching a show) is another.

I'm good with everything but Bran.
But we all aren't good the way it was done. My god.. wtf did we just watch.

No, he's king beyond the wall.

The Stark children knew Aegon going North wouldn’t be a punishment for him. To the rest of the Kingdoms, it seemed like one because they didn’t know any better.
Sending him to the “Night’s Watch” when such a thing doesn’t currently exist was a way to get him North of the Wall and allow him to live his life how he wanted.
