I wish more people took more care in birth control than killing a baby.

To increase the number of people waiting to adopt?

Whatever it may be. Increasing adoptions should be the priority.

Yes. But the problem isn’t on the demand side. If we made adoption easier, there would be an even higher demand.

I don't see a negative in encouraging and increasing the number of adoptions through any means.

They do. White liberals are often adopting non white children to use as political props. Some of them even kill the kids after they've served their purpose.

So liberals are pretty steady on their stance to kill kids.

There are already more people who want to adopt than kids to be adopted...

That's a consequence of the barriers to adoption. For better or for worse, adoption facilities are selective. Encouraging more people to be on the wait lists encourages more adoptions. I haven't heard of any adoption reform in these recent state laws.

If your family is truly pro-life, you're going to have to give me a damn good reason why you're not on an adoption waiting list for me to take your beliefs seriously.

You might want to look into liberals trying to shite down Christian Adoption Agencies.

So only families with 20,000 dollars or so to spend on adoption can be pro life?

I don't support them trying to shut them down. I support those agencies' right to choose which parents are suitable. But I do question the forethought given by those agencies who don't want gay or lesbian parents to adopt.

Raising a child costs way more than that in the long run. For people who are pro-life, you can't put a value on life. The cost to make a child's life better shouldn't matter to them.

I agree with all that (got two kids). I’m just pointing out that the average person doesn’t have 20k to cover birth and prenatal expenses for the mother to adopt an infant. I would take as many kids in and care for them as best I could.
I know many who have adopted but none of them infants. This is some gotcha point for you I’m sure, but adoption is very common amongst Christian Families. I wasn’t raised Christian and only recently became a believer. I was surprised how many adopted kids my children know through youth group. One pastor has 3. Another family has 2. My son has a friend “Mac” who is mixed race and adopted..he didn’t know Mac was “black” or adopted until some other kid talked about it (literally years of friendship)He didn’t believe me until he asked Mac about it. Was a sweet moment that made me know I was putting my kids in a good situation at our church.

If you want to be around people who care about kids both before and after birth, Church is a good place to start. I say this a a former agnostic who spent 40 years with blinders on to Gods love and mercy for us all.

I don’t see your point. I agree with the idea. But without increasing the supply of babies to adopt, there’s no point in increasing demand.

People do, but not everyone is in a position to adopt. Some people help children in that situation in other ways. I believe that as this fight over abortion goes on and after it ends, we must do more to help those children, but I don’t think pro-life people just don’t care.

Do you question the forethought given by those agencies which won’t allow whites to adopt black children?

Nope.

This is true, but it's because of government intervention. Not because there's a lack of people willing to take babies.

Adoption or even foster care.

I’ve recently come to the realization that you can’t have one without the other.

Scripture even calls for Christians to care for the orphans.

Too much red tape with adoption. What should be a straightforward process is loaded with unnecessary hurdles.
