Any chance Naz Reid would be their with the 39th pick in the 2nd round? I don't think he's at all a sure lock in the first, just not sure how long he'll last.

Any thoughts to how Naz Reid's game could develop and be a nice complimentary piece to Zion's offense?

I think he goes in the first.

But I am really really high on Naz and I am only a very casual LSU fan.

I think he will be a better pro than college player.

He could easily be there when he free-falls after the camps.

He's a big that can shoot a bit so that's a good complement. You wonder if he will get the minutes with Jah, Wood, Zion, Diallo and a potential Robinson/R. Williams.

Plus they'll likely target a veteran stretch 4, Griff likes those Dudley/Frye type guys.

I wouldn't mind the Pelicans signing Waters as an UDFA.

Fully expect Naz to be a 2nd rounder but not sure how far he falls.

Well he was a good college player so that's good.

I think he could be. His game isn't worthy of being picked in the first.

Could be good to grab and stash in the on the NBA development team Mrs B just bought.

I want Okeke, but how's that
acl injuryy he had doing

Yeah Naz has a lot of potential and he seems to have a good work ethic. I think he really could become a nice player if he can develop further. He's got a solid skill set. He needs to be taught to understand his best game, too. All this dribble in from the top of the key shite ain't it

I would love for them to take a flyer on Tremont in the 2nd. Dude could turn into a really good scorer off the bench with his mentality. He's definitely undersized, but I think the guy has value as a scorer.

That would be sweet. Another big who can stretch the floor making room for Zion to get his frequent flyer miles.

I think Naz will shoot up boards after the combine. I wouldn’t mind taking a look at him if the AD trade nets us a mid 1st, although Boston’s 14 seems a little high.

Naz Reid

He had whole games, like when they played Tennessee, where he didn't score. He doesn't do anything for this team in an area we are lacking, and in the things he does well we have players already who can do it better/proven can do it in the NBA. Pass.

He pretty much fouled out in the first 5 minutes against Tennessee so that means nothing. Plus I didn’t realize we had a bunch of 6-10/11 260 lb athletic bigs who can run the floor, handle the ball some, knock down 3’s, finish above the rim and give some rim protection. The only thing he lacked was consistency and better decision making and he was 18 years old lol. And don’t try to say he isn’t an above the rim player. A couple of posters tried to say that but the way he would explode through the lane and tomahawk dunks when the lane was open says otherwise

Using the Tennessee game without context is lazy. The refs got baited into all but fouling him out in the first 5 minutes of that game.
