Via Air - BTR to AUS

FYI for anyone that bought tickets on VIA Air from BTR to Austin for the game. Looks like Via has suspended operations and are not issuing any refunds. They are only selling flights for that weekend on their website now so maybe it will be a chartered flight? I have called, went to voicemail lol, and emailed. Will report back if I hear anything.

Anyone reading this, do not book with Via Air.
They've cancelled over half their flights the past past year to Austin and if still in operation will do the same. People have said that many times they cancel without a heads up leaving passengers waiting at the gate with no one there.

We are on the 8:15am flight that connects in Houston and lands in Austin at 11:50. Just in time to drop the bags off at the hotel and hit the bars

I can confirm this. Clown operation. I would be very hesitant to ever fly on one of their planes considering the way they do business.

We are flying on SW from New Orleans to San Antonio, renting a car and driving up from there. Only a 1 hour drive and flights into and out of SA right now are super cheap

Via Air doesn’t have nearly enough pilots to staff their operation. They’re canceling flights all over.
