I don’t have any solid thoughts about abortion one way or the other.
I also strongly do not like this appearing more to be about power politics than creating a valid law.
Those are my two cents.

As others mentioned, it's definitely about power politics. This was designed to get challenged and go to the SCOTUS.
I'm not a fan of the law at all, but I'm also not going to get mad at conservatives playing the same political bullshite games that the liberals did to get the Roe v. Wade ruling in the first place.
And Roe v. Wade is shitshow when it comes to legal jurisprudence. Right ruling, completely wrong justification.

Every abortion related law passed since 1973 has been about power politics, not creating a valid law. It's not an appearance, it's fact.
