I think you are misrepresenting. Daenerys fans aren't angry that she burned King's Landing down. They're angry because she burned it down AFTER the city surrendered to her.

Mad Dany just reinforced the idea that Daenery’s could flip, at least Daenerys had a bunch of people close to just die, and actually had a (albeit ruthless) logical reason to try to ensure the power she spent a decade feeling she was entitled to.

Women want every woman character to be perfect. It’s not enough to have a badass assassin hero in Arya..... or “the smartest person I’ve ever known” in Sansa..... or the noble warrior Brienne......... but Danerys had to be perfect as well. They always need something to bitch about.

I highly recommend 7 days in hell with him and Andy Samberg. He takes blank stare to a whole new level but in a good way.
