Florida should not be seeded that high. Truly a disservice to Alabama. Say they do advance to the CWS (expecting them to)

They now have to deal with OU. What a middle finger to their season that completely demolished the conference this year.

Where is that guy telling us they were a lock host and possibly a national seed.

Not really. Their best win is against #41. They are 2-1 against top 50.

Agreed. Also, I'm not sure lsu could have gotten a better draw anywhere. Very legit chance they could host a super if they advance out of the regional.

I am still dumbfounded how Bama is #8 when the won the regular season title and then played for the tourney title.

Bama was clearly penalized for their weak non-conference schedule. I think over-penalized...

BUT if the seeds hold there are no SEC-SEC super regionals...(though I wouldn't mind a LSU-UGA matchup )

Edit...Florida and Tennessee could meet.

bats need to wake up and play well next week

They have everything set up for a big run... Winning the very first two games will be key.

They got what they deserved.... they didn't deserve to host in any capacity. You do not deserve consideration for hosting with 0 top 25 wins and a SOS in the 70's while everyone else has a top 25 SOS and multiple top 25 wins.

Its simple. Play a tougher schedule and win against quality opponents. With how weak the sun belt is typically the OOC schedule needs to be more demanding. Its good they faced OU but they need more top 25 teams and they need some wins.

Cry me a river, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Sanchez and Sunseri set the tone at the plate. If they come out against Monmouth and rake, that gives that offense it's confidence and swagger back.

No. No they didn't.

Play stupid games (lots of games vs. shitty teams), win stupid prizes (a trip to Oxford)

Oregon St. didn't end up getting in so ULL's schedule is extremely lacking.

I agree that first game will be key. They need to come out strong and get some confidence back in their swings.

I don't know why they wanted LSU to end their season again.

LSU, the No. 1 overall seed in the regional, will take on Monmouth at 4:30 p.m. CT in Tiger Park, Louisiana Tech will take on Texas Tech at 2 p.m. CT.

Action starts on Friday, all games will be televised on ESPN3 App
