What is the appeal of the Harley to baws who just ride on weekends?

They get all decked out to look like 1%ers and ride their hogs through the countryside.
Some of these fools even have stereos blaring.
To me, it’s no different than my 4yo playing cowboy.

You ever ridden a motorcycle more than a mile or two?
It’s fantastic, especially with a group.
I personally don’t but know those that do. It’s a hobby for sure. Just like playing golf on the weekends.

I thought loud pipes on a bike were to make sure people know you’re there- given that motorcycles get wiped out by cars all the time.
As for why they want a Harley? Why do you do the things you do? It’s their money. Why do you care what they spend it on?

We are in a neigborhood where everyone has 1.5 to 2 acres. Speed limit is 30mph. Every Sunday around 10am for years the same group of douchebags...most of them couples on a bike.. ride through the neighborhood... down every street and every cul-de-sac with their loud bikes. They come to a full stop at every stop sign. They aren't doing anything against the law but they seem to just come through hoping someone will run out of their house and stop them to talk about how cool their loud bikes are.
No idea why someone would want to make a neighborhood a weekly stop. I figure they must be bored or scared to get on the big roads. Laughable really.
