for trying to coerce Barr to commit a crime by unredacting Grand Jury testimony?
It’s interesting though that when the DOJ was resisting Nunes’ fight for the release of information regarding an on-going investigation, many were calling for those in the DOJ to be arrested, despite the DOJ also raising valid legal and practical concerns.

Frankly, I think both are examples of hack politicians just being the partisan hacks that so many love when they are hacking it up on their side.

Nunes was asking for info unrelated to a Grand Jury investigation. DOJ could have permitted the underrated info to be viewed in a secure place, just like Barr.
Nadler is asking Barr to commit a crime. Nunez requested info which could be legally permitted to view.
Also, the DOJ was redacting info to cover up their own actions which looked questionable. They were covering up the truth.
Barr is covering up nothing.
These 2 situations are very different, if you have educated yourself to the facts.

Perhaps you can cite that?

I remember similar conversations re: Issa and Holder. Of course Holder subsequently became the first U.S. Attorney General in history to be held in both criminal and civil contempt. He was held, by a bipartisan 255–67 vote, in contempt by the House of Representatives. At that point, he probably should have been arrested.

SO - an oversight committee seeking information a about how a disastrous, possibly illegal, policy = Fast & Furious = that resulted in the death of a US Law enforcement can be stonewalled and ignore subpoenas. = no problem

BUT - a totally stupid request - devoid of ANY valid purpose except political advantage - demanded that the AG break the law by revealing Grand Jury information to the DEMOCRAT operatives, MUST be honored or be arrested, ALL THE WHILE the information being DEMANDED is available in full in a SECURE location (where a leak can be traced) - and NOT ONE Democrat has bothered to look at it, meanwhile the minimally redacted version is available to the PUBLIC.

This is not an equivalent in the least.
