I lost two teeth in highschool by catching a ground ball with my face in pregame warmups.
It was not ideal. Definitely don’t recommend it

I always found it helpful to use my glove for that.

For some reason when I searched I did't see it listed. Only the softball game for whatever reason. I found it though. Thanks.

I could do it but
1. I’m at the game so I will be significantly ahead.
2. I might not be able to accurately determine where a ball is in the zone from my position. Could definitely say balls and strikes though
