Since many feel(I dont) that Alabama is the road block to LSU taking the next step -

In the past 3 years, heres the point total for Alabamas SECw(+ permanent e) opponents

Arkansas - 70
Auburn - 59
Texas A&M - 56
Ole Miss - 53
Tennessee - 38
Miss State - 27
LSU - 10

Only 1 of those teams got shut out.

LSU has been shutout twice.

Hopefully Joe Brady is, in fact, the answer but theres nothing wrong with a wait and see approach considering the past 'success' of LSUs offenses. This will likely come down to how much authority CEO/Ensminger gives Brady.

Oh frick off with this shite. We know. Why do some people have to be so miserable all the time. I mean, how dare we show any hint of excitement for the year coming off a positive year last season.

You think that is something. Get a load of this.

In 1962 LSU lost to Ole Miss 7-15. Huh?

LSU is going to be fricked this season because of what happened in 1962. If it happens more than once it will continue to happen forever and will never change. LSU is doomed.

I am so miserable I just can't even follow LSU anymore and haven't been able to do so for years.

Everyone saw the Spring Game. How many snaps were taken under center? ZERO! This is a different offense and that was sufficient evidence that the offense will be different.

So come back in September if nothing until then is going to convince you. In the mean time people are going to discuss it and get excited, because that's what the off-season is for. I have no idea why some of you hang around here if the mood of the board perpetually offends you, and further more feel the need to announce it to everyone. No one gives a shite that you're taking a wait and see approach.

You'll be downvoted to eternity because it is the rant and LSU is gospel regardless of how stagnant and bottom tiered their offense has been the last 6 seasons.

Last year showed promise but LSU was still ranked #10 out of 14 SEC teams in total offense last year.

I approach every year the same. I'll believe it when I see it. Thus far, I've been waiting a while since Mettenberger left.

So you think Alabama treats the Arkansas games like they treat the LSU games?

LSU lets Bama get into their heads too much. Just relax, prepare like any other week, and play football.

I just love how people downvote a post filled only with facts.

Everyone knows our offense has struggled in recent years, and particularly against Alabama.

Nothing to downvote here, children. 2+2=4. Maybe it will be better this year, but my hopes have been dashed before. We're all hoping for better, but let's wait until we see it on the field.

Answer to what? He's never been a college offensive coach before. He's in fir a rude awakening in the SEC.

Does this mean all those teams are better than LSU?

And even with our offensive deficiencies we have been better than those teams year in and year out. Any offensive improvement will pay huge dividends.
