Anyone have/had a child attend there? How did you like it? Also I am having difficulty finding a price. Looking at early childhood right now.

My cousin's kids went there for elementary and middle school then transferred to MHS. I think that's pretty common, as they are having trouble maintaining their HS numbers. My cousin liked it, but they wanted something different for HS. It's pretty progressive, which is a dirty word around here but whatever. I don't know what the cost is but it isn't cheap.

Supposedly they have are one of the best early and elementary/middle schools in the state. A lot of the kids from there go to strictly AP classes and early graduation in HS.

I’d check the scholarship recipients’ college selections from recent AHHS grads before I threw rocks at them. Father Charlie has done a amazing job there.

My sons have attend CES, Lake Castle and Kehoe (4 sons, 10 year span betwixt them). Each school has its advantages, each has its drawbacks. That should be no surprise.
I've always been an advocate of students attending different schools. For me, 12 years of public, parochial or private is usually too much. Changing their environment every few years creates more well-rounded individuals.
CES has a liberal arts style approach to education. I'd say it's the best (albeit most costly). However, Ten years (pre-K - 8) could create "your child lives in a bubble."
Do some time at CES, then move else where, then on to a high school (whether it be MHS, Hannon, CES, SSA or SPS).
And remember, the school that is right for one child is not necessarily the right school for a sibling. Every child is different.

Had kids go there from pre-k all the way through high school. Nurturing environment with good academics. Was a good experience for us, and looking back would not change that decision. Would highly recommend.

In this state, it’s pretty common for the parents to have more disposable income when sending kids to college, rather than less, because private HS is so goddamn expensive.
Going from paying $15k a year at Episcopal or Dunham to getting TOPS at LSU is a hell of a difference in costs for tuition.

I had a couple of cousins who went to the old school by Bogue Falaya Park, they liked it, my Aunt loved it, always raving about it, and some Reverend named Ralph.
