Not true! Parochial school tuition at some of the top schools in NOLA are 10K for elementary and well worth it. Offer so much more electives and after school activities.

It’s a problem of mine, but I go nuts when someone calls a Catholic School private education. This is mostly because where I’m from catholic schools are for the poors, and they aid poor families. There was almost 8 private schools within 10 miles of where I grew up and they’re far different than parochial school. At this point none are less than $40k, so when people say “private” but they really mean parochial it bothers me.
For the private schools where I grew up it includes; Pettington Prep, Lawercville Prep, The Hun School, Princeton Day School, Rutgers Prep, Chapin School, Bridge Academy.

Dude, Jesuit, Brother Martin, Mount Carmel, Dominican, etc are around $10k a year and not lacking anything educational or elective wise.
