Talking in a disparaging manner about the actions a person or a group takes isn’t impeding their freedom of speech. 
Calling for government intervention to either censor them or force their actions is a violation of their freedoms, but I have not seen a single person argue that they shouldn’t be allowed by threat of government intervention to refuse a White House trip or make a statement about it, so I’m truly not sure what your point even is.

No one's saying they don't have this right but declining an invitation to visit the President at the White House and be honored for your championship and publicly justifying it with patently bullshite excuses comes off very petty and beta, we're entitled to our opinion of them are we not?
