How about rather than slam 90 we all celebrate a damned strong number and appreciate the policies (and person) that are a main driver for it.
The fact Trump is not at 65% job approval is proof of the mendacity of the MSM and the stupidity of large swaths of the American public.

little evidence for that, to put it kindly

Remember during the days following the election when all the leftists were claiming Trump's policies would "bankrupt" the economy?

Muh 2.4
2.4 was a good estimate given the data that was out at the time
a big contributor to this was state and local govt spending which is just hard to track

before this morning i was just thinking about inventories & net exports dragging going forward. now the govt spending part could become a drag too

Had dinner with my sister-in-law last night. "The country is going into a recession and it's all Trump's fault!"
I just texted her this link.

you gotta work with the data you got
i'll note, again, that this was a big beat in terms of what everyone expected, including anyone who was willing to sack up and lay down a number here

i think the late-quarter strength here has probably put that to bed for 2019, although this quarter's number may raise expectations for the rest of the year way too much
