That must be a coincidence. I called my pastor a fellow Easter worshiper today. What does that even mean?

I could almost see a Christmas worshiper because of presents but Easter?

Deep state sucks

I mean, this isn’t a big deal but it’s like they went out of their way to avoid saying “Christians” and it’s clear they all got the same talking point or are at least lazily copying each other. Maybe I’m ignorant but I never hear “Christmas Worshippers” or anything like that. It’s just odd phrasing. “Easter Observers” would’ve been more on point.

I was actually more triggered by the fact that Obama did everything he could to avoid saying “resurrection” in his Happy Easter tweet. He said it was a season of “rebirth” instead.

We don’t worship Easter. We worship Christ. Easter is a celebration of the miracle of the son of god dying for our sins and then being resurrected after.

Of course liberals and the media can’t bring themselves to say Christians like it’s a dirty word to them.

It’s really a telling peak into the minds of the left and how they see faith is this world and what’s worthy of being named, revered, and celebrated and what’s not.

I'm not sure if you have ever heard this or not but there are lots of Christians who are not into worshipping the Easter holiday.

Before today, when was the last time you heard the word “Easter worshippers”

It’s okay. You don’t need to lie, although I know that’s your default mode.

Then they’re not Christians.

I went to church on Sunday morning to honor Jesus giving his life for all sinners on Earth and then being resurrected after and through this ordeal how we gained righteous forgiveness.

That’s what being a Christian looks like.

You should be embarrassed.

Meh. The term “Easter worshipper” seems like nothing more than an attempt to succinctly distinguish those killed and injured in the three churches from those killed and injured in the three hotels.

Sure, it is an odd usage, but it is 17 characters rather than 30 or 40, which can be important in limiting the length of a tweet or a headline,

I suppose they could have said “Easter churchgoers” or something similar. Would that be less offensive?

Well “Christian” is only 9 characters...

Sure, but it does not distinguish the church victims from the hotel victims, which seems to be the goal of this phrasing. Statistically, some percentage of the hotel victims were probably Christian as well.

I suppose you could say “Christian worshippers” rather than “Easter worshippers,” but the former seems to be a subset of the latter as all Easter worshippers would likely be Christian by definition.

Sorry, but this seems like outrage looking for an excuse.

Have all idiotic progressives eliminated the word “Christian” from their vocabulary?

You’re right. It’s actually just the opposite of a “dirty word.” Christianity represents holiness and good. Demons do not speak the name of Christ. Similarly, even speaking the word Christian makes the wicked uncomfortable.
