Brown patches in my lawn

Did Scott’s feed and seed on front lawn . They grass looks incredible . Can see
my lawn looks thicker and more green then both neighbors. But I have brown spots on lawn ,how do I treat this.

Pictures? Did you stop pushing but the hopper was still open? Did you not shut the hopper on your your turns? If the drive wheel stops moving but the hopper is open the product will fall out. Did you spot treat weeds?

I did not close hopper when turning and stoping but don’t honk that’s it. Hmmm, could be so confused. Already had some spots before feed and seed. I appreciate any help you can give me. I can send pix if you tell me how to retrieve pix,lol internet ignorant.

Did you use a push spreader or hand spreader? On push spreaders people leave the spreader open when turning or stopped. This will cause excessive product to dump out. I’ve seen that cause some burns. If it is just small spots do you have a dog or does the neighborhood have a rabbit problem?

Brown patch..... The fertilizer accelerated it. The extra nitrogen promotes Brown patch as well as cool nights and moisture from the recent rains. You need to get a fungicide and broadcast spread it
