I know the rules well enough, maybe not as well as you
That’s why I’m asking.
I thought maybe I was missing something.
You really think Tiger is a cheater on the course?

Yes. On live TV
And no one saw this?

Apparently there is a small consensus of people that are in agreement that Tiger is a cheater on the course and has gotten caught and admitted to it but the media has apparently swept it under the rug.
Do you have a link? Never heard this before what is the accusation?

I’m no Tiger fan but how do you cheat at golf?
A lot people will slightly move their balls to better lies or shave a couple strokes off throughout a round. This isnt really possible in a PGA event though if thats what you're talking about.

Your title makes it seem like fact that Tiger was accused,
Because he has. That’s the point of the thread

a basketball player who fouls a dude down 3 with 10 seconds left to send him to the line cheating. Or a coach who takes a delay of game on 4th down trying to draw the other team
The golf equivalent here would be receiving penalty strokes for hitting into the water.
He purposely took actions on the course, by his on words, to gain an advantage. In golf you are supposed to police yourself.

Are you insinuating basketball players aren’t fouling on purpose at the end of games

about a stupid inadvertent ball placement or something?
Ahhh. Except he said he did on purpose.
In his post match interview.

It’s a known fact he took steroid back in the late 2000s
Posted on 4/18/19 at 7:40 pm to tgrbaitn08
I don't believe anything about him cheating but I swear there was a shot once where he hit it in a bushy area where there were people, there was a pause, and then the ball pops out in a good direction. The announcers didn't even say anything. That was 20 years ago and I apparently was the only person to see it.

Saturday you stated is was honorable of him to drop it two yards further back.
Rules violation.
Liar.

I think it was an issue of him not fully understanding the rules. Why would he admit to dropping the ball 2 yards back if he knew that was the rule? That could have (and probably should have) led to his disqualification.
There are rumors of certain players who habitually anchor the long putter but claim that they don’t... or move their balls closer to the hole when marking their ball. That is cheating.

Wow. In 2013, he would have been playing top-level golf for at least 20 years...
And still not having a full understanding of the rules?
There is no one with a sober mind who could believe that.

It’s the reason why he went crazy and also why he started having more injuries

He did have this incident. He didn't assess himself a penalty at the time and it's hard to imagine he didn't see the ball move.

A cheater is, by definition, 'one who takes deliberate action, against the rules, to gain an advantage over his competition'.
So, for instance, in the 2nd round at the 2013 Masters, when TW took a drop in violation of the rules, he cheated. He said in his post round interview that he purposefully dropped 2 paces further back than the place of his original shot.
Now Tgrliar08, I know you don't know the rules well, or at all. The option he chose required him to drop at his original spot... Not 2 yards back.
How can you call this incident anything BUT CHEATING???
He didn't gain any real advantage by doing that.
A rules violation isn't the same thing as cheating.
Posted on 4/18/19 at 7:57 pm to tgrbaitn08
I really don't care if he cheats or not, as long as he's back to winning a shite load of slams in a short period of time

People get rules officials out for drops from sprinkler heads now, which should be pretty straightforward. The rules get very jumbled. Again, why would he admit to doing it if he knew it was against the rules?
