Mike Trout will likely pass that in this, his 9th year at age 27.
He's currently sitting at 66.1 and would have to have his worst year ever to not top that mark. He's currently second in MLB in WAR this season, so it doesn't look like he's having a down year.
He's got a good chance to finish in the top ten for career position player WAR, and may even challenge for top 5, depending on how long he remains productive.
He's pretty good.

Trout is ranked #131 in history currently, and he is #4 in active players.
In other news, Albert Pujols is on the brink of becoming the 31st player in MLB history with a career WAR of over 100.0.
That puts ARod, Schmidt, Joe Morgan, Pujols, Ripken, and freaking Adrian Beltre as your top infielders (by WAR) of the last 50 years.

Saw that his OBP leads the league early on. Like .571 or something absurd. Dudes just amazing.

He was at 101.3 after 2016. He has lost almost a win and a half of WAR since then.

he actually had a positive war last year and is holding steady at 0.0 this year so maybe he becomes the first player to go over 100 career WAR twice

He’s getting better and better too. His plate discipline metrics so far this year are by far the best of his career. He’s basically Mike Trout with Joey Votto plate discipline now.

He is the hardwn of mlb. The advanced stats peg him as one of the all time greats don’t they.

He's like the Harden of MLB...if Harden was actually Lebron James

Harden spanks LeBron on the metrics for three years now. Spanks him.

Shoeless Joe Jackson has a 62.2 in 13 seasons. And he played in 20 games or less in 4 of those seasons plus a season at 45 and another at 83. He is not in the hall of fame but not because of his skills. 1332 games in his career.
Trout's numbers are better than his. He is a stud. 66.2 in 1080 games.

In other words, Trout has become Mickey Mantle.

You just compared Harden's prime years versus the back end of James' career.

Lebron hasn’t fallen off much on the court. It’s his off the court antics that have hampered his team success.
