If he can start getting the true fans back in the seats and out of the hands of the corporations.

I hope he has the balls to challenge some of the "cherished policies" when it comes to football game management.

If we're beating Alabama 31-10 in the 4th I guarantee you there will not be an empty seat in the house.

When the weather is good, the opponent is good, and the score is close, the seats will be full. When one of those things aren't happening, they will not stay full. Doubt any AD can change that.

If he eliminates the asinine tailgating and parking policies, fixes the concessions, fixes the shitty piped in music and just the general overall experience for the fan, then yes. It's not like their isn't already a precedent for what LSU fans want and are happy with.

As much as I hate it too, this is just the new age of fandom. Only stay all 4 Quarters if the opponent is good and the score is close.

I wish it were different. But that's just not the case anymore.

Will he bring men’s curling to LSU? How can we be considered a serious athletic program without curling!

Woodward will make the traffic from campus part like the Red Sea and bourbon will rain down from the heavens.

Priorities man. He can worry about butts in seats afterwords, because it is now safe to establish a credible Lacrosse program at LSU.

Add to that list adding WiFi of sufficient strength in Tiger Stadium. People cannot be without their precious phones for three or more hours anymore. And that’s not just the millennials.

I don’t think people realize how many seats are scooped up by businesses to “give to customers”.
In turn, those same customers either take them and don’t go, take them and give them to their employees who don’t go, or actually go just to tailgate and or end up leaving early to head back to the tailgate. Don’t be naive and think this doesn’t happen.

This.

Attendance is a national issue - not just a LSU problem.

I'm not being naive, the mass exodus starts in the student section and the other areas are much larger than the corporate seats alone would dictate.

I honestly think scalpers seats are as large an issue as corporate seats. The area where I sit is always populated with people who bought those game tickets, often from the opposing team. There are about 8 people in the area that are there every game. I doubt those are corporate.

FTR, based on last season and my wifes assessment (I miss about half the games due to work) of the fan bases, Moo State had the worst visiting crowd by far. I was in for Georgia and Alabama. Georgia fans were fairly good folks (we were surrounded) and Bama folks are somewhat smug and arrogant but otherwise not terrible, they were actually a bit concerned early on. They were certainly not the insufferable douchebags my wife said the Moo State people were. I still hate Bama though.

The parking and the traffic situation is so screwed up, I dont think Einstein and Tesla could fix it. That's why people leave at the half or third quarter. Alleva was in such a hurry to build, build, build, the existing problems, which have been a problem for decades, were just exacerbated.

Yeah, by not pricing people out.

Even if you have some money. It's ridiculous what it cost to take you and your family to a game. That's why more and more people just pick a couple to go to every year instead of going to every game.
