When did it go to shite? We went for lunch with the family on Saturday and it was terrible. The burger was cold as was the whole bag of shredded cheese placed on top. The fries were cold as well. The one on Kaliste has been bad for a while, but I expected the other one to be better.

That’s disappointing. Ground pati sr cooked medium with cheese and cheese on the fries was my go to hangover meal when I lived in Lafayette.

That or something from hot food express. Does that place still exist?

That ground patti has been shitty for over a decade. I only remember it being good when I was a little kid and that's probably because I liked the shredded cheese

Same thing happened to us recently. The Patty was good, but every thing else was bad. Especially the fries.

I'm not sure either but I went a few weeks ago and it wasn't as good as I was used to. Also the waitress was crap. We went late and you could tell she wasn't happy about waiting on us as she thought she was about to get off. GP on Johnston used to be one of my favorite burgers in Lafayette, I'll give them another chance but they need to get it together.

Also, on a side note...how is it able to be called Ground Pati and have the same sign as the chain ones but it doesn't seem to be associated or under the chain. I've seen them call out the one on the other side of town on the sign outside. I think it's owned outright by a local and isn't affiliated with the chain. I'm not sure how though?

Did y’all eat it? I’d have sent it back and slipped out when they went to the kitchen.

Drop a $10 bill on the table for your sweet tea and hit up Parish for some ice cold Ghost.

I seriously don't know how they stay open. Complete garbage.

I haven't been there in over 15 years but used to stop in there on occasion. They were one of the few places that would cook a burger rare. I'm not sure if they still do, but I also don't do rare ground beef anymore (although I love the taste of it.)

I loved that place 25 years ago. My wife waited tables there when we were dating.

Sucks that it has gone to pot. Now that you mention it, I was disappointed last time I went.
