What recruits do we have a legitimate shot at? Watford, Quiinones?

Khadim Sy as well. These are the 3 names we know about now, it’s possible a couple new names could emerge between now and Wednesday.

I’d say 55/45 for Warford and 20/80 for Q. I know Smart is coming back for sure. Haven’t heard anything on Emmit but he eluded he would return in a rcent interview if not drafted

Watford most important recruit on our board. Q would be nice, but Watford and Sy would be huge given that only big man returning is Cooper.

He was all LSU before the wade suspension. Kept it pretty quiet since then but i expect wade to wrap him back up. I’m sure Memphis made up some ground with him so we’ll see but I’m cautiously confident

What players will stay? A lot of people are saying Smart. What’s the chances of Emmit?

LSU really needs him. Day 1 starter I’d imagine due to need.

Expect to see Mays, Williams, and Smart all back.

I certainly expect that. 3 schollie to give (doubt they would take away Graves).

Watford, Q, and Sy was likely the finish Wade wanted to the class.

Fingers crossed.

The way I understand it Sy is a hard kid to coach and he's going to Ole Miss.

We may be working the senior transfer market more than the JC market to refill the post. There are some interesting options there.

I’m wondering what big names are out there for the senior transfer market. With 3 scholarships to give we could go Watford and 2 grad transfers I would hope at least.

I firmly believe that whoever Wade gets he will get the most out of them. Just look at Bigby-Williams. He wasn’t all that great at Ordgon but he did very well here IMO.

And where do you think Emmit is going? It certainly isn’t the NBA.

Yeah you’re probably right about Emmitt. He should return.

Haven’t heard anything on Emmit or Mays but im sure they will return, Smart is back for sure unless a magical first round selection lol. We should land Warford and have a very solid team for next year.

Idk where you’re getting this we “should” land Watford stuff from...for the last month all that has been mentioned when it came to him and his recruitment was how tight he was with the players and coaches at Memphis. Soooo.....

Of course he’s close with them. You make a lot of friends during the recruiting process. I can tell you he has the same relationship with our program

We have four scholarships to give unless Daryl Edwards decides to come back.

There are a number of good options to find a grad transfer big. The one I would jump all over is Derrick Smits from Valparaiso, who is Rik Smits' son. He averaged like 12 and 6 this year and was the most improved player in the Missouri Valley Conference this year. Most of all he's 7-1.

There's another kid I like a lot - T.J. Holyfield at Stephen F. Austin, who's 6-8 and 230 and averaged 13 and 6 for them this year. Holyfield had 18 and 7 against Missouri and 19 and 8 against Mississippi State, so he can play against SEC competition (he had 9 and 2 against us, which wasn't a great performance).

Those are just two. There are a bunch more, though I don't think the transfer portal is close to full yet.
