Thank you! Been saying this for years. This "everybody needs to get a college degree" mantra is just a money grab by the college industries and student loan programs. We will always need millwrights, pipefitters, welders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.

The ironic part is the focus on classical education and college has exponentially increased the demand for tradework which has hurt the number of available tradesmen while concomitantly decreasing the need for "smart" people.

If everyone has a degree then they arent that special, right?

But, since everyone is focused on book smarts, people have, for the most part, forgotten how to work with their hands. I cant tell you how many friends of mine cant do simple electrical work or even something like fixing a toilet. Thats a $300 call minimum to your local electrician or plumber. for something that takes them maybe 5 minutes to fix. those prices are only going to go up because there are less and less plumbers and more and more "smart" people that need their toilets fixed. Its madness.

Amen to that. I replaced the radiator on Mama BFIV's van yesterday. Cost me $220.00 bucks for a radiator and some scraped knuckles and grease on my hands. Shop wanted over 400 bucks to do the same thing. The shop guys aren't college educated, either. They're tradesmen and master mechanics who are not afraid to get their hands dirty to make a good living.

I'm not sure obesity it the prime driver for Healthcare costs. I know a lot of people who are healthy that came down with cancer.

Except you can't abort it. And we won't teach you about safe sex, or help you get contraception.

HC costs are high because America is fat and lazy.
Red tape is an issue which the free market would fix.
Also we pay our doctors very well compared to Europe and Canada. Universal HC advocates will not cop to this but they need to slash doctor salaries by 50% in order to make HC hit affordability numbers = to Europe/Canada. It’s a nonstarter.

Ok, champ. Link me to the Republican party's platform advocating for comprehensive sex ed in schools, and access to contraception, and support for abortion rights.

Ask a republican.

You still lie.

Free condoms abound.

Parents should be the ones to talk about sex.

You are just mad because sane people expect more from our kids and take responsibility for them and their upbringing.

I'm asking you. Show me where your party supports these things I'm telling you they don't support.

You're the exception.

Too many people working the in Home Depot lumber yard think it's perfectly fine to bring children into the world and then just hope for the best (and gov assistance).

Parents need to be certified to be responsible? Yikes. No wonder milenials are less happy.

40% of adult Americans are obese. Think about that number for a moment. What percent of Americans are diagnosed with cancer?

I'm asking you. Why does your party not support those things?

Why do you work for a company that sucks at the teat of the taxpayer ?

Why don't you and your ilk , support yourselves and your ideas instead of reaching into others pockets ?

Obesity is not just a drain on govt expenditures on health care. Obese people get paid govt checks for disability. A 500 pound person cannot work. They can barely make it out of bed to take a crap and they certainly can't reach their arse to wipe.

Personal accountability is something that most Americans in the 21st century have a very hard time with. It is out #1 biggest problem. It is always someone else's fault. Always.
