I hope somebody is in Javonte's ear giving him good advice.

After the Mich St loss, Benford commented that one of his main jobs would be to keep the kids from "scattering" because of all the uncertainty hanging over the program. If Smart were to bail, then the program is pretty much fricked for the foreseeable future.

My worry is that this kid has already had his family dragged through the mud, and if Wade is not reinstated soon, he'll just go play in Europe and make some money rather than walk back into this situation.

To be fair - what’s best for you, as an LSU fan, may not be what’s best for javonte

Just saying... if the roster is depleted, and WW is gone, then maybe coming back isn’t his best option

If Wade isn’t back, Smart is gone.

I’m sure there’s a European team that will make him a strong arse offer if he doesn’t declare for the NBA

Possibly. It is more like he knows if they received benefits or not. Smart is not ready for pro ball Yes he could make some money in one of the lower classification leagues in Europe. Europe limits the number of foreigners on their teams and the euro leagues have plenty of guards. Makes it harder for an AMERICAN guard.

China maybe.

You have reasons to worry.
LSU b-ball is a hot mess.

This is just ridiculous. Would it suck? yes. Would losing Smart kill the program? Not even remotely.

If Javonte is smart he will stay. If LSU is smart they will fire Will Wade and hire Jim Calhoun to clean up the program and find a coach in waiting after 3 or 4 years. Hell Calhoun may win us a championship in those 3 or 4 years. No one on earth could disagree with the scenario.

If Wade is gone Smart will be too. Actually have no idea how he was reinstated if LSU is actually worried about sanctions.

I'll repeat my previous post. In COLLEGE BASKETBALL ALWAYS consider EVERYONE a one and done. In COLLEGE BASKETBALL it is imperative you have a coach that can RELOAD EVERY SEASON.
