Firestorm is really solid. Doesn’t have a following on this board. Which I understand; don’t release the game with minimal content and six months later expect ppl to be excited about a BR.

Also, a BR that isn't free unless you have already purchased Battlefield V. Expect it to die quickly.

I don't understand this narrative nor the hate for this game, I personally enjoy it and find it fun. But of course i play several games so maybe I don't get burnt out on it like the others.

What came with BFV at launch is everything they've ever released with a BF game. Firestorms is essentially free DLC that they just happened to talk about prior to launch that got everyone interested. You're not paying any more money, and they've already said all of their post release content would be free.

The map offerings, gun variety, and available modes were pretty light on this release at launch.
They half assed it. EA and DICE were gaining ground as the dominant shooter on the market with Battlefield and they pissed away all their goodwill on this mess. Although I think battlefield 1 was a bit of a misstep as well.

I think you missed my point, the last great BF game the majority of people would say is BF4. Guess what was available for purchase with BF4? Premium. Everyone wants the games quicker and cheaper. Which forces them to release "incomplete" games. If you are worried about an extra $50 for really good content then you need to rethink your finances. The equation here is quite simple, alot of the fanbase didn't want to pay for premium so we get cheap content. You get what you pay for.

I've decided that I'm not going to be a BR guy. I simply don't have the patience for it. I so want to like it, especially Apex since I'm a big Titanfall fan, but I know it will just annoy me.
