Will we ever see an NFL team win 3 Super Bowls in a row?

Spurned off by article of jim irsay saying that's his goal for the colts.

We've had 7 teams win back to back SB's, Pitt of which has done it twice. Patriots, Denver, Cowboys, 49ers, Miami and Green Bay are remaining.

Atlanta has yet to win one.

How about they try to consistently make the playoffs first.

It could happen but injuries and the single elimination aspect make it difficult. Add to that you could have a
missed tackle by a safety or a blown P.I. call by a ref as well.

Spurn does not mean what you think.

And yes, sure.

A team came THIS close the past 3 seasons, so why not?

Never say never but the odds of it happening are extremely low.

It’s extremely hard to win one and then do it again next year due to the wear and tear on you and the limitations of the salary cap to retain or replace players.

Belichick and Brady’s Pats have been consistently one of the best teams in the league over the past 18 years. They have only played in three consecutive Super Bowls once and they lost the middle one of them to the Eagles.

I could see the Chiefs doing it in the not-too-distant future. Once the current generation of older QBs (Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, etc) retire, Mahomes could get on a roll.

????

They were up 28-3 late in the third quarter when I went to bed. Did they actually manage to screw that up?
