It remains fair to say Foxl leans right and MSNBC leans left. CNN floats somewhere in the space between the two. Even most of rhis board seemed to agree with this description
Until the Pumpkin singled out CNN as his nemesis. The troops snapped back in line.

Don Lemon, Cuomo, all say that they are news journalists. They are not, They are opinion talking heads just like Hannity and Carlson. Only Hannity and Carlson admit it.

Zucker took over CNN in 2014 and that is when they began to skew left

CNN is so far left at this point the only thing keeping them from passing MSNBC is Rachel Madcow.

Nah, CNN has fallen off the cliff in terms of dishonest reporting and bias. The Trump election broke them.

The problem is there really isn't 24 hours worth of watchable news in a day and, even if there is, the level of detail required to accurately report it won't attracted 99% of the viewing audience. Therefore, the 24-hour networks had to change their model to keep viewership which meant catering to the intelligence level of the unwashed masses. Hence, we get 23 and half hours of emotional, soap-opera-like commentary on 30 minutes of actual news.

The 24 hours networks are simply a big mirror staring at American culture.

It was called the Clinton News Network long before Trump ever got a TV show

Wrong. I started on this board in 2008 and saw people starting to point out leftward moves by CNN even then. As we wound through the Obama years more and more statements of such cropped up, especially as conservative voices left CNN and were replaced by liberal ones. By the time Trump came along many on this board had already been stating that CNN was to the Left (only those more liberal here were still saying it was center-based).
