If you look at it through the glasses of 1995 then I agree. However, social media is how everything moves nowadays. Like it, love it, or hate it but if it’s not on Facebook or Twitter then it doesn’t exist. If a platform is censoring a viewpoint be it conservative or liberal view points, I think you would be approaching some gray area.

The FCC will soon be regulating these companies.

A private company cant discriminate against people on the basis of yadda yadda yadda...sooooooo the "they can do it" argument is pointless.
I fully support the right of people to discriminate based on anything they choose.
Twitter being no exception.

They're a private company, they can censor whatever the frick they want on their website.
If you don't like it, don't partake of their business. It's a simple concept with extraordinary power but it does require a little effort on your part.
It is a sad reality of the situation, but someone will push for it and it has already been proposed in Florida once.
Sadly, that is the endgame people are now pushing for.
Twitter has become the new “public square”.

Sure they are a private company, but they are also a monopoly. They also claim publicly to enforce their rules “ impartially for ALL users, regardless of their background or political affiliation “. Which is why in the end , when they engage in systematic purging of all political dissent, and become the enemy of Free Thought and Free Speech, they are inviting anti- monopoly action by The State.
Same with Google, Facebook etc.
Same with Google, Facebook etc.

The same liberals that use the “private company” twitter and Facebook line when they censor the right whine about net neutrality

I have no disagreement here. We're at an interesting time right now as the internet and real life are becoming more intertwined by the day.

Jesus fricking Christ, no one is arguing that they shouldn’t be allowed to make these retarded decisions. Everyone understands they are a private company.

It’s ok to call out double standards and spread the word to not use their grossly biased propaganda tool. Its called the free market and word of mouth. Deal with it.
That's not what happens here and on the Political Talk. Most people complaining want the government to intervene. That's the antithesis of what conservatism is all about.

you have zero rights to use Twitter or any social media so if the owners of those platforms want to deny service for whatever reason, that is thier right
