I think company burger is very meh so we probably shouldn’t be having burger discussions together as we obviously have different tastes

Well, I guess you're one of the locals who think a great burger should have a giant handful of ice cold cheddar cheese on it?

Rent Citi bikes and pop wheelies like PeeWee Herman’s Big Adventure, without the self fondling.

The fact that you're on your trip to NY and on Tigerdroppings debating the pros and cons of a quick service burger is pretty damning evidence that you're not great at traveling.

How so?
It's late and I'm relaxing in my room.
What you doing?
You're not worth the time.
A goddamn troll.

I'm also sitting and relaxing. Because I'm at home and not on vacation. I feel like that's a really easy thing to distinguish...
I just find it weird that someone would travel to New York and spend their time debating Shake Shack versus a burger place from back home. It's Shake Shack. For the record, I think it's delicious. But I would never travel somewhere with essentially unlimited food options and eat there.
Yes, you obviously don't know me.

Two posts takes less time than a piss.
I had multiple people tell me too go there, I did, said it was good. Not great.
B said he disagreed
That's basically it. The post you made took longer than mine.
Okay. Anyway, back out on the town.
Have fun, I will.

I get that. After drinking we needed to grab food for the kids.
And convince is key, plus we are in a huge group.
Also a view from the room.

Look, I hope you and your family have an amazing trip. And you should do whatever it is you feel will accomplish that. Travel is completely personal and enjoying a trip is not something anyone else but the person taking it can speak to.
But I wouldn't brag about going to Chicago and Destin as if it's some superior level of travel. Although you assume you're better traveled than me, I don't assume the same for you. But I'd be more than happy to compare and contrast.

I had a GF who lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
We walked the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan, I rode the LES skatepark under the Manhattan Bridge, we biked all over Manhattan.
Chelsea Pier was always pretty dope. I busted my ankled pretty good in the skatepark there.
The Oculus and Twin Tower Memorial is incredibly solemn but worthy of all our time.
There’s a million things to do, just do the things that are close to your hotel.

The Highline in Manhattan wasn’t too bad either.
Lots of tourists but pretty good views.

Not to speak for the guy you were responding to, but i agree that Company Burger is very meh.. my main problem with Company burger is that, besides that the burger itself was pretty bland- the one time i went, they didn’t have even the most basic condiments that a burger place should have.. i asked for bbq sauce, no dice.. I asked for mustard, they dint have any of that.. i decided to ask for salsa, and nope.. but they had a freaking mayonnaise bar, of all things.. i happen to think that mayo is the most disgusting substance on the planet, and while that’s just a personal preference- they should at least offer some alternatives.. my visit was to the downtown location 2 or 3 yrs ago, maybe things have changed.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with cold cheddar on a burger.

Listen, he travels a lot. Including exotic places like Destin. Don’t tell him about burgers.

Upset because a burger place didn't have salsa?
I don't really do exotic.
I'm a huge proponent of seeing America first, yet never been to Chicago.
Hands down the Destin area is the best beach in the continental US.
That last line may not be popular, but I'll die on that hill, unlike my burger.

That’s your opinion and you’re more than entitled to it. But that doesn’t make it right.

Name a better. I mean Malibu is pretty but the water sucks.
The Atlantic has decent water bit the beaches suck. Miami is nice but it's crowded as hell. Actually south beach may be the best fit a,single man who likes looking at boobs.
The best water sand combo is the 30A area.
Of those Destin has the most options.
If there is a better beach without going to Hawaii, I'm all ears.
You sure like arguing over pointless shite, are you a Lunchbox alter now?

I don’t think there are any prerequisites as to what makes a great burger, what tastes great, tastes great. I just find company burger to simply taste ok and not great.
