Besides broadway shows.

Saw Beetlejuice (up there with Book of Mormon) & The play that goes wrong.

Looking for good museums.
I got food down. Like LA you can eat top dollar or cheaper than anywhere else.

Thinking about Intrepid museum or National History.

Maybe the catacombs tour at St Patrick's.

This board is great at turning up must see/do things.

Also I think NY Pizza Suprema has the best slice, unless ya'll know others.

I always enjoy just a slow walk through central park. Except for that one time I saw a rat that was ~ 15lbs. That freaked me out.

9/11 museum is a must. Natural history is solid too.

You could also spend hours just walking around Central Park.

Empire State building at night.

Ground Zero museum.

Central Park.

NYC Public Library & Grand Central.

Go see Wall Street during the trading day.

Wife was big on going to see GMA or Fox and Friends early in the morning.

ETA: If you are big on history/military history then take the train from Grand Central north to Garrison and ride the ferry over to West Point for a day and tour. It is incredible.

Hit Natural History Museum in the morning, then walk straight across Central Park and do the Met in the afternoon. That's what I did.

I walked the island from Battery Park up 5th and 6th Ave to the south end of Central Park, over to Broadway and back down to 32nd and 6th, on one of my first visits there. I ran across a bunch of touristy landmarks and still have a ton of pictures from that one hike.

Also have a nighttime stitch shot of Manhattan, roughly from midtown to the southern tip of the island, that I took from a Jersey City pier. I used that as my laptop wallpaper for years.

Also have been to the slip that was supposed to be for Titanic. The one next to it is where the Lusitania departed on its last trip.

Coney Island was nasty.

One thing I missed that I want to get to sometime is Grant’s tomb.

There’s a nice Macy’s downtown. Also china town for fake designer goods for your Christmas gifts.

Throw pennies off the top of the Empire State Building. Take the BQE and go exploring.

Go up to the Rainbow room at the top of the rock.

Theres usually no line and your admission price is buying a drink.

I like walking too. My wife does not. Walked with wife and daughter to Tiffany's on fifth from 42nd/8th and they were complaining meanwhile this morning I walked from 44th to 24 th just to get a bagel.
When I was here with my brother we walked to Battery park from central park down the west side up the east side.

Security is really tight by Trump Tower they even made the side street closed off and you can only walk the opposite side.
They had two of the really heavy protection suvs too.
Was neat to see up close.
I don't think he's in town. I wanted to get a Manhattan at the Trump bar fir S&Gs

I want to go there. I think it would be neat to see a museum on something that happened in my life.
Though I still tear up just watching a 911 video.

Yeah, that's what I like doing. It sucks when you are with women who pick shoes for fashion not comfort.
Walk through the flatiron. My cousin lives in Seaport by Wall street so I may visit down there.

Awesome. Trump tower is near the Plaza hotel and Tiffany's the start of the swanky part of the east side.

A lot to do here.
I don't like Times Square but that's where our home base is.
(Here for kids theater competition)

Explore. Enjoy and don't try and do everything.

Any thoughts on the Intrepid?

I have from right now to 1:30 (12:30cst) by myself.
Want to do something they wouldnt want to do. Like a museum. But I have tickets for a show at 2 so can't be far from 50th.
I figure a fifteen minute subway radius/30 minute brisk walk radius.
