The no call when Reid was shooting towards the end.

How does that not get called in a game like this? I haven’t seen the replay yet, but he got hammered.

They let both teams play. They could have easily called a bump by Naz on Morsell’s score for an And 1

I understand letting them play, but Reid was damn near tackled on that one.

I agree for the most part but there’s a hell of a lot of difference between the play you referenced and the Naz mugging

You thought it was called evenly in the last 10 minutes?

Not sure why your post was downvoted but Naz hammered him and thankfully they didn’t call it

Yeah I thought so.

But I'm happy the way they called the game. They didn't get our bigs in foul trouble.

There was a 4-6 point swing around the 3 minute mark where we got a couple touch fouls and Maryland was hammering us on the other end. But as usual this team pushes through it and overcomes.

Yeah, Naz got absolutely tag teamed and pulled down by the jersey. No idea how that could be called a "missed" call. There's no way all of the refs could miss it.

I’ve seen better refereeing the last 2 games than the whole SEC season. Geaux Tigers!

Naz got absolutely mugged once....no call.

Our ensuing possession he got fouled again. It was a call that could have been let go, however Bigby-Williams got called for a foul exactly like this one 6 minutes earlier.

The no call on the shot before just amplified the second and the feeling of us not getting whistles.

It's called the "Aleeva Factor".

He got grabbed too. And the color commentator pointed it out. But the three blind mice didn’t see that. Nor did they see the guy flat out push Reid on his dunk in the first half right in front of an official with nobody else around. Nor did they see anything wrong with the guy challenging Reid’s missed dunk near the start of the second half. Any one of those plays was as easy a call to make as any of the fouls called on LSU.

they absolutely could have called smith on waters last drive. he stuck his knee/leg out which pushed waters to the baseline. i've been pleased with all of the tourney officiating i've seen so far. better than the sec. better flow. the worst game i saw was maryland's first game. whoa. they let maryland get away with a bunch of small things

He was hammered.

There were calls and no calls that benefited us and them.

One stuck out to me that seems it had some purpose to it.

2nd period. Time? To bust into the Maryland zone Reid is working in the paint, is fed the ball and he turns and powers to the hoop for two. The announcers even make the point on replay how effective that tactic is going to be. Almost instantly, next play, on the other end, Reid is called for his third? personal on what was arguably a foul but of the sort that had not been called most of the game.

It imo impacted Naz's effectiveness inside the rest of the game.

But it's all good. Tigers win!
