Even though I like having my games in one spot, I have no problem with Epic trying to compete with Steam. They do need to do more than just have exclusives. Right now, their amenities are zilch compared to Steam and they need to be working on that.

As others stated, the developers / studios are just as much to blame for agreeing to exclusive deals.

Can't blame them just like I don't blame Epic. Who wouldn't accept MORE money for their product? Steam is stingy so developers are moving to greener pastures.

On top of that, Steam should be more proactive with the crap that gets sold on their website.

Exclusivity, either for a window of time or for the life of a game, doesn’t buy you much of a user base.

If your launcher software doesn’t offer as good of features as others, or is actively worse by infecting the computers with malware, all you are doing is blackening your brand name in the long run.
