Saints with 9 scouts at West Virginia’s Pro Day. By far the team with most representatives.

Steelers are second with 6, including Mike Tomlin. But as I can attest, it’s much easier to get here from Pittsburgh than New Orleans.

Can confirm this to be true

9 scouts at 1 school is a shite ton with all of the other pro day's going on all over the country.
Gotta be there for a reason

I wouldn't mind seeing him a Saint. He's a strong competitor and a leader

Are we actually looking to draft a QB? We're going to have to keep 4 QB's on the roster if we do.

would put us in a difficult position with Drew/Teddy/Taysom/JT Barrett already on roster and we like them all. Couldn't stuff Grier on a PS.

Sounds like the whole baseball team is there.
Do like Greer.

Cajuste seems like a Saints OT 6'6" 320 with some upside.
Sills and Jennings are both big and productive receivers as well.

I mean, I have a hard time believing we sent that many scouts up there if this wasn't a serious consideration. Don't think Cajuste or Sills get that much attention from us.

yea, could be true. they have other players. but i know they are going to do their full homework on Grier. Even though we're loaded at QB now, Grier could be groomed behind TB long term. Taysom maybe could be kept as a ST player, its not like he doesn't contribute across the board if we kept 4 qb's this year.

I would guess the roster would look like drew/teddy/drafted qb and have taysom officially listed as a rb or wr. I don’t think Barrett makes it past the practic squad any time soon.

That makes sense. I could see us just giving Taysom Hill the #4 RB spot.

One NFL scout in Morgantown, W.V., just texted that QB Will Grier “put on a show” for NFL Teams in attendance and predicted he’s “a riser.” The WVU QB is expected to meet with at least 10 teams before the draft, including the Giants, Redskins, Chargers, Pats and Saints.

I’d be willing to bet they are there to see David Sills and Greg Jennings Jr as much as Grier.

No doubt, though I can't see how the Saints would get in position to draft him, or why they would resign Teddy if this were the plan.

Saints gonna Saint before the draft.

I think Grier is vastly underrated but I don’t see how the Saints can justify taking him when they have Bridgewater and you are trying to put as many pieces around Drew as possible right now. I’d love to have him but I don’t see how it’s a possibility.
