Whose gone? Thoughts?

I went the other day and I have to say it really was a great show. I went in wanting to think it was overhyped and didn't expect to like it.
I loved it.
The songs, the story.
I like how they presented an important part of history that is often skipped over.
I would go see a spin off of just King George III.

Great show, if you have a chance, go.

Went last week. Been a season ticket holder for 4 years and this is by far the best I have seen there.

My favorite part was when they talked about how much they hate white people

Race really wasn't a part off it. Other than some comments on slavery here and there.
The only thing that bugged me was I though Washington should have wore his powdered wig.

I enjoyed it for the most part, but I do think it was overhyped because of its cast diversity. I've heard that some people were put off by the contemporary lyrics sung by actors in period costumes.

quote:

King George III.

He was easily the best part. You'll Be Back is the catchiest song in the entire show.

The wife is going with my daughter next week. My daughter is obsessed with the show, even though she's never seen it. I told them to have fun; I have no desire to see Hamilton.

Going see it in London in May. Hopefully black Alexander Hamilton doesn’t disappoint

My wife used to work at the theatre in Memphis, so we were able to see pretty much every show for free from 2010-2016. Book of Mormon is probably my favorite I have seen as well

You should go.

Saw it in Chicago last year and it was great.

I went in expecting to hate it because I thought it was going to be off the rails inaccurate in its portrayal of the historical figures and events.

While there were some liberties taken, it was shockingly accurate in its presentation.

Went on Sunday and enjoyed the first half before intermission over the second half. Regardless, best show this season even over Les Mis and Book or Morman.

The guy who played King George was my favorite. Hamilton crushed it as well, my wife saw the original cast in nyc and said that this Hamilton did just as well as Lin Manuel.

We have tickets for the show on the 30th and can’t wait to see it again.

My 16 yr old daughter is a Broadway musical fanatic and went with her mom. They both loved it.

Only gripe was the New Orleans Aaron Burr couldn't hit his low notes as well as the original cast member.

But she and mama are both La All-State Choir snobs who were just nitpicking.

In the end they both said it's very much worth the Saenger Season ticket price(I heard that single tickets are going for MUCH more).

I cheered with everyone else when Burr said “immigrants make this county great”

My favorite part was the two guys next to me blowing each other.
