Whiskey Recommendation - Birdie Pulls

Going on a memorable golf trip and looking for a good whiskey to take pulls from after birdies are made in the group.
Looking for something smooth, easy drinking, and maybe a little sweet. Huge fan of Buffalo Trace, but want to try something different.
Budget up to $125.
What would you recommend?

Angel’s Evvy Finished Rye (it’s aged in Rum barrels and is definitely on the sweeter side)

If you are partial to Buffalo Trace get a couple of bottles of Old Weller Antique.

Buffalo trace is a bourbon with a high rye mash bill.. here are others that fit that bill:
Eagle rare (literally same mash bill, different aging)
1792
Col Taylor (same distillery)
Four Rose's single barrel
These are all way under $125, but all are smooth, approachable, easy to drink for awhile, and fit your current preferred flavor profile

Looking hard at Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

High West Yippe Ki yay if you can find it. Easy drinker at 92 proof and nice sweet finish from the vermouth and syrah barrels.

Jack Daniels single barrel ticks all your boxes and is delicious.

That double oaked is very good

WR double oaked is a love it or hate it bottle. I love it because I tend to enjoy super oaky, but a lot of people find it to be over the top. It's an excellent bottle and very smooth.

I mean you're taking pulls from a bottle on a golf course, who gives a frick. Find a bottle in the 25-35 dollar range.
This is one of the strangest questions I've ever seen asked on this board.

Good info...
Decide if you want to pay premium price for a sourced product or one that is distilled on site. Go from there using the recs.
Sourced: Angels Envy, Jefferson’s Etc. Not necessarily bad stuff, they just barrel for a year and charge you like they made the product and barreled it for 4+
Distilled on site: Buffalo Trace products (listed above), Evan Williams (knob, basil etc) and several others.
You can buy some specialty run Knob Creek products for under $100, calandros has several. I like the Col Taylor, four roses etc..
I drink all of it... just prefer the companies that do everything in house. This probably isn’t a Birdie Pull type, but I picked up some 9yr selected single barrel Knob Creek at Alexander’s yesterday on sale for $34 which is pretty cheap. You other baws may be interested in just having it on the shelf.
I’ll say this as well... I’ve grown fond of good Irish Whiskey. Green Spot, Yellow Spot and the Red Breast 15 are easy drinking options that are wonderful.

Seeing as you said whiskey and not bourbon, and scotch is better than bourbon anyway, I would suggest Glenfiddich 18. It is available in every decent liquor store in the country.
